Modeling Again

Number One likes to spend a lot of time in her sewing room. I like to spend time in there too because she opens the door and the sun shines in the storm door which has glass all the way down to the floor. I can lie in the sun and watch what is going on outside. Oh, back to the original story: She spends so much time sewing because she sells quilted items on Etsy which is an online site where humans can sell their handmade items. Check out Number One's shop KGsewing

She just finished a dog carrier tote, which I thought was going to be mine, but it isn’t.

Hey, I like this Bag
Hey, I like this Bag

Number one picked me up and put me in the bag, oh boy, we are going shopping. No we are not going anywhere she is just taking my picture. I better look cute and maybe then she might take me shopping.

I am sleepy
I am sleepy

No wait, now she wants me to sit by the back. Why would I want to sit by the bag when I can be in the bag and go for a ride? I am not happy about this. If I am not going shopping then I want to go back to my nap. Oh well, humans are strange.

Well the bag isn’t mine. Number one just wanted me to model it for her shop on Etsy.

A New Puppy, No Way

You’re not going to believe this. Yesterday #1 left the house without me. When she came back she had a Puppy. It was fluffy with white fur. It looked kind of like me when I was a young pup, but of course I was cuter. Well, right away I did not like the looks of this. If that furry ball of fluff thinks it can join my pack, well it better think again. OH NO! Where are they going with it? No don’t put it down. No stay away from me, get away. I gotta hide. Now look, it is play with MY toys. What to do, what to do. I don’t like this one little bit. Hey stupid, that is a box you pee in not a place to lay and chew MY bone, and that is MY bone, put it down. I can’t watch anymore. I am going where it is safe and hide in my room. I am never going to come out. #1 is saying something about a ride. Take me I want to go. Phew, #1 is picking me up and we are heading out the door and into the car. She places me in my basket and away we go. Wait, #47 is getting in and he has that puppy. Better keep an eye on it. We are stopping at a house I never seen before. #1 gets out and she forgets to take me, she is taking the puppy. She gets back in and look she doesn’t have the puppy anymore. We get home and I run around with joy. My pack is the same as always. That was a close one.

QotD: One Question

If you could ask your boss or teacher ONE question without any repercussions, what would it be?

Since the leader of the pack is the boss and the teacher I would have to ask #1 why I must leave it when the "Leave It" command is said. I don't understand this because usually the thing I am going after looks sooooooooooo good. Or the thing I am doing at the time is fun. Why do I have to stop? Why can't I eat it? I just don't understand.

Would you rather have one best friend or ten acquaintances? Why?

When you have a friend like #1 why would you need anyone else?

The Big Adventure

Saturday – Something is going on, #1 is putting clothes in suitcases.  This could be bad because she might go away and leave me with #47.

Sunday – I wake up and she is still here that is good.  More activity, the suitcases are going into the car.  I stick close to #1 in hopes of going with her.  #1 & #47 put on their coats here it comes the big moment.  #1 picks me up but she could still hand me off to #47 and I could end up in my room.  But we are in the car and I’m in my basket.  Whew I can relax and sleep.  We drive for awhile and stop so I can get out and run around.  #1 gets upset that I’m all wet but the grass is wet and I’m pretty close to the ground so what did she expect.  After a quick clean and dry we get back into the car.  Later we stop at what I’m told is a lighthouse, I like lights but I thought they lived inside of plastic mice not houses.  It is raining so I have to put on my stupid raincoat, how embarrassing.  We get out and #1

Why do I have a raincoat on?

decides that it is raining too hard so we get back into the car.  #47 takes some pictures and we are back on the road.  I’m told we are almost to our new home when another car

runs into the back of our car.  Nobody got hurt only the car and it was not too bad.  I got to meet a policeman and didn’t even bark at him.  After a short delay we get to our new home.  At first glance it looks pretty small.  Hey where is my room?  There is only 1 room with a big bed and 1 small room that I refuse to go in because I don’t like the feel of the floor.  There are a bunch of strange noises and I have to bark at them.  I don’t know if I’m going to like it here.  I manage to sleep though the night with only 1 woof to check on #1 she is still there so I go back to sleep.

Monday – Back into the car and another lighthouse.  At least it is not raining, no need for the stupid raincoat today.  I

get to sit in my bag and #1 carries me.  The lighthouse seems to be sitting on the edge of the biggest bath tub I’ve ever seen, water everywhere.  The whole time we are there I was thinking, “Don’t put me in the water, Don’t put me in the water”.  We walked down some trails and all was going fine until #1 hands the bag (with me in it) to #47.  She goes through a door into this little building called a gift shop.    I panic because #1 is gone.  #47 tells me that we can see her through the window but I’m not buying it.  I start looking behind us because #1 could be there she could be anywhere.  After what seems like forever #1 reappears from the same door.  Who knew this could happen?  Next I get to run around on the grass and of course I get wet and dirty again.  We get back in the car drive for awhile and park.  Then it is back in the bag for me.  I’m no expert but we are walking toward what looks like

another lighthouse but this one is out in the middle of the water.  There are huge rocks which seem to form a path out to the lighthouse but I don’t know who would be crazy enough to go on those rocks.  Hey wait a minute we are now on the rocks.  The rocks

don’t fit nicely together and most of the gaps are big enough for a little pup like me to fall in.  #47 leads the way but every now and then # 1 finds a better route.  All the time there is water on either side of us.  It is slow going but we are almost to the lighthouse when I notice some fishermen near the building.  I decide to bark at them and # 1 says we are close enough and turn back toward the distant shore.  On the way back we meet some other people walking on the rocks and I decide to tell them what a big mistake they were making but they choose to ignore me.  We finally make it back to dry land.  Another short

drive and that looks like another lighthouse.  How many of these things are there anyway?  This is a little one which looks just right for me but there are two big dogs without leashes and they make #1 nervous.  I bark at the dogs, how dare they upset #1.  Back to the car and to our new home.  It is time to eat but I don’t eat much since I figure if we had to move into this little room I should eat less.  After a little break, ( I took a nap) we go to some stores.  #1 goes in and I wait patiently with #47.  Patiently that is until the car door closes and I can’t find her anywhere.  I keep looking by climbing up and down #47 so I can check for # 1 out all the windows.  She comes back and we repeat this at a couple of more stores.  On the way back to our new home we stop so #1 can go into a Subway and get food.  Once again I am stuck with #47 in the car.  He tells me to watch #1 and see where she is going and then he claims that she will back from the same direction.  He keeps telling me to watch over here and #1 will return.  I don’t think he knows what he is talking about so I keep checking other directions.  #1 shows up, I don’t know which direction she came from thanks to #47.  Back to the new home, I do like to walk up and down the long hallway outside our room.  I sleep some more since I haven’t got my normal 6-8 hours of sleep during the day.  Then we go to my favorite store Petsmart.  We get a new rope toy for me although I try to ignore it in the store but it is kind of neat.  Then we stop for some ice cream.  Well #1 and #47 get ice cream none for me.  When #1 goes to get the ice cream I can’t see her again.  #47 tells me that we can still see her I don’t believe him.  He then opens the moon roof and holds me up.  #1 talks to me and I see her.  #47 brings me back down and wait where did #1 go again?  We go back to our new home; I’m exhausted and sleep through the night without bothering anyone.

Tuesday – #1 gets out the suitcases and puts the clothes back in we load the car and are off again.  We stop a couple of times so I can run around a little and finally arrive at our old home.  My toys and my room are still here I’m so happy to see them.  My bottles and octopus are here this is terrific.  It is great to be home I never want to leave again.  Ride? Did someone say ride?  Let’s go.

One Spring Day

One spring day #1 takes me outside. We walk around the yard and then she hooks me to a rope that is attached to a green thing that is in the ground. She disappears for a minute and just when I start to panic she comes back carrying gardening tools.

Oh boy, I think we are going to dig. But I can't reach the dirt #1 is digging in. How am I going to help? I can't find any dirt, only grass. I wonder, what is under all this grass? Is there dirt underneath? I start digging, It looks like dirt. Let me get closer and smell it. Maybe I should taste it to make sure it is dirt. Oh no, #1 is turning around, quick sit down and she will not find out I have been eating dirt.

I'm not doing nothing

Darn, I think she is on to me. She is coming over and laughing at me.

I wonder how she knows about the dirt.

Yup, she knows, she is coming toward me. Into the house we go. No, not that, I don't need a bath. Why do I need a bath? You can't give me a bath without #47 helping. Ok, maybe you can.

New at blogging

This is my first time blogging and my first time using a computer. The keys are a little to small for my paws but I will get use to it I think. This is the 4th morning in a row that #1 (my owner) left the house. She mentioned something about going to work, but she never leaves me 4 days in a row. I had to stay in my room all morning. Don't get me wrong it is a nice room. I have a whole bedroom to myself. It use to be the human's daughter's room but she is married now and no longer living in the den.

When #1 got home, I was so happy to see her. We played, went outside, then came in and played somemore. Then it was my nap time. I will make my first blog short, because I want to go play with an old sneaker #1 gave me.
